The Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi, located in the Saadiyat Cultural District, was visited by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vise President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and the ruler of Dubai. He stated during the tour that funding museums is an investment in humanity’s future, raising awareness among the next generation and empowering them to influence the future by gaining a better understanding of the past. Additionally, he emphasised the UAE’s booming museum industry, which reflects the nation’s increasing dedication to its cultural and historical institutions.

According to His Highness, the UAE is still supporting and growing its cultural sectors, and museums are essential to maintaining the country’s legacy and bringing it into contact with the outside world. Sheikh Mohammed also emphasised the importance of museums in conserving the legacy of past generations and motivating present and future generations to build upon it while chronicling the UAE’s incredible journey and accomplishments.

Sheikh Mohammed was given an overview of the Natural History Museum’s immersive experience, which delves into the history of the Earth, the universe, and life across millions of years. Additionally, he learnt about its collections, interactive displays, and cutting-edge technologies, which included reconstructed images of Abu Dhabi’s natural surroundings as well as rare meteorites and fossils.
