In response to the current regional developments, a number of flights to and from Beirut were cancelled by airlines on Tuesday and Wednesday.

On September 24 and 25, Emirates Airlines cancelled its scheduled flights from Dubai to Beirut. According to data provided by Emirates, this was caused by events that followed a string of Israeli attacks that targeted several Lebanese provinces, leaving tens of thousands of people displaced and over 500 casualties. Etihad Airways has said that, due to the current security situation in the area, it will discontinue its planned services to and from Beirut on Tuesday, September 24. The impacted flights are EY535, which takes off from Abu Dhabi and lands in Beirut, and EY538, which takes off from Beirut and lands in Abu Dhabi.

Assistance in arranging alternate travel arrangements is offered to those visitors who have reserved these services. Etihad Airways is actively monitoring the situation across the region and maintaining tight interaction with the necessary authorities.

According to a Flydubai representative, the 24th and 25th of September flights between Dubai International Airport and Beirut International Airport have been cancelled. Given the current situation, this decision has been made. The spokesman said that travellers with confirmed reservations had received information on refund or rebooking choices.
