Christian Stocker, the Chancellor of Austria, was welcomed by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, while he was on a working visit. In addition to other areas that support development priorities and shared interests under the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two nations, the two sides discussed cooperation and opportunities to deepen ties during the meeting, especially in the economic, development, industrial, renewable energy, technology, and artificial intelligence sectors.
They reaffirmed their mutual commitment to enhancing the UAE-Austria relationship, which is still growing steadily, and growing the bilateral collaboration in a way that promotes prosperity for both peoples. The two sides also discussed topics of shared interest, such as Middle East developments and how they affect regional and global peace and security, freedom of navigation, energy security, and the world economy. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, and several ministries and officials attended the meeting.
