UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan congratulated Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for being the country’s longest-serving continuously elected Prime Minister, marking a watershed moment in the country’s democratic history.

In a series of posts on X, Sheikh Mohamed congratulated Prime Minister Modi on having the longest continuous tenure as an elected head of state in contemporary Indian history. He wished Modi ongoing success as India’s leader and emphasized the great progress made in UAE-India relations in recent years.

The UAE President stated that the relationship had undergone a substantial transition as a result of concerted efforts to support both nations’ progress and prosperity. Confident in the partnership’s future, he said, “I congratulate my friend Narendra Modi on the occasion of recording the longest continuous term as an elected head of government in the history of modern India, and I wish him success in leading his country and people towards further civilizational achievements.”

He added, “The UAE-Indian relations have witnessed a qualitative transformation in recent years thanks to joint efforts for the growth and prosperity of our two peoples, and by working together, I am confident that these relations will see further development in the upcoming phase under the two countries’ comprehensive strategic partnership.
