With the subject “Performance under pressure: Energy systems in a new era,” ADIPEC 2026 opens at ADNEC with 2,250 exhibitors and 239,000 energy experts from 170 countries gathered around one question: how do energy systems remain dependable in a tumultuous world? Petro Middle East (PME) has a unique response after more than thirty years. One of the top energy firms in the UAE, situated in Abu Dhabi, has been bringing the world’s energy technology to the Emirates for that long, and its solution is found on the manufacturing floor.

In addition to Dhs80 billion in local manufacturing agreements since 2022 and a Dhs90 billion local-purchasing target for 2030, ADNOC confirmed Dhs200 billion in project awards for 2026–2028 and unveiled more than Dhs60 billion in local manufacturing opportunities through 2030 across 200 products and critical spare parts at the Make it with ADNOC Forum in October 2026, which was held in advance of ADIPEC. With more than 100 certified UAE manufacturers, Local+ converts these figures into factory orders. Made in the Emirates products are now the top option in all new EPC tenders, supplier registration is up to 80% quicker, and purchasing cycles are up to 40% shorter. “Energy security is a shared responsibility,” ADIPEC reminded the sector. That duty has an address for PME.
