With the delivery of its first 100 UAE-made cars bearing the “Made in the Emirates” label, ROX has advanced its local production operations and aided the nation’s endeavours to increase advanced manufacturing in high-value industries.
The company’s AI Manufacturing Center in Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD) built the cars, which are a part of the UAE Signature Edition. The accomplishment is a result of cooperation between ROX, the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), and the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT).
The complex, which was built in six months, combines a Design Studio, an AI Lab, and a Manufacturing Center. This combination fosters the development of industrial expertise and national capacities while supporting the integration of production, design, and cutting-edge technology.
In keeping with Operation 300 billion, the National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology, MoIAT supports the project through the Make it in the Emirates program. The policy aims to boost industrial resilience and competitiveness, hasten the adoption of new technologies, and boost industry’s economic contribution to the country.
