The ruler of Umm Al Quwain and member of the Supreme Council, His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Rashid Al Mualla, said that Flag Day celebrations reflect pride in the UAE flag as a symbol of sovereignty, unity, and national belonging while rekindling patriotism and commitment to the country and its leadership. According to Sheikh Saud Bin Rashid, the event also serves as a reminder of the country’s obligation to keep working diligently and sincerely in order to maintain its reputation and advancement.
“On Flag Day, hearts come together under a single flag in a national demonstration that shows how deeply we are a part of the United Arab Emirates. Sheikh Saud declared, “We proudly raise our nation’s flag as a symbol of its sovereignty, dignity, and identity, uniting the people of the UAE through shared values of loyalty, belonging, and a common purpose and destiny.” Sheikh Saud went on to say that the UAE flag represents the nation’s accomplishments and successes as well as the principles of loyalty and accountability that Emiratis have upheld throughout the country’s history.
Sheikh Saud declared that under President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s leadership, the UAE flag will continue to be a source of pride for the country, a symbol of unity and sovereignty, and an inspiration for ongoing commitment and service.
