Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah (UOS), has decided to nominate a Chancellor for the university. The decision designates Professor Dr. Issam Al Din Ibrahim Ajami as the University’s Chancellor and a member of the university’s Board of Trustees.
Additionally, Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed made a decision designating Professor Hamid Majoul Al Nuaimi as the University of Sharjah President’s advisor.
The decision designates Professor Hamid Majoul Al Nuaimi as the Director of the Sharjah Academy of Astronomy, Space Sciences, and Technology, a member of the University’s Board of Trustees, and an adviser to the President of the University.
In the meantime, the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) and the University of Sharjah, in partnership with the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Studies, sponsored a scientific conference titled “AI and Digital Twin for Energy Applications.”
The symposium aimed to showcase the uses of digital twin technology and artificial intelligence (AI), focusing on how these technologies may improve institutional services and energy efficiency.
