The project to light the Al Ghuraifa residential area in Al Madam city and the road going there has been finished by the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA). This is a component of its initiatives to light up several Central Region cities, regions, and residential areas. According to reports, SEWA erected 5,000 meters of wires and installed 90 lighting poles and 94 energy-efficient luminaires.

According to Engineer Khalifa Mohammed Al Tunaiji, Director of SEWA’s Central Region Department, the Authority is striving to offer the best services and carry out lighting projects in a number of locations to guarantee security, safety, and a refined and beautiful appearance. He confirmed that the project to light the Al Ghuraifa residential area in Al Madam and the road that leads there was carried out in a time frame of no more than four days and in accordance with the best technical standards.
