The UAE will be the Guest of Honour at the Beijing International Book Fair 2026 through the ‘Al Bait Al Emarati’ pavilion, managed by the UAE Embassy in China and organised jointly with the Ministry of Culture, reflecting the strong cultural ties between the two countries and bolstering the UAE’s footprint on China’s cultural scene.
The participation aims to achieve international cultural dialogue and to expand the areas of cooperation between cultural institutions, publishing houses and entities working in the creative industries in line with the vision of the UAE that places people at the heart of the development process and considers culture, knowledge and creativity as key pillars to build societies and shape the future.
The ‘Al Bait Al Emirati’ pavilion organisation is part of a series of cultural activities sponsored by the UAE Embassy in Beijing to promote national identity and display the UAE’s civilisational values in China. The pavilion has become a leading platform to display Emirati culture and to emphasize the ideals of tolerance, coexistence and openness that make the UAE.
