
The Outstanding Partnership Award was given to the Muslim Council of Elders’ pavilion at the America International Arabic Book, Culture, and Arts Expo 2025 to appreciate its significant commitment to advancing intercultural understanding and highlighting Islamic cultural legacy.
The Council played a vital role in enhancing the Expo’s program and promoting harmony among Dearborn’s many groups, and the fair organisers expressed their gratitude for its active engagement.
They pointed out that the Council’s stimulating lectures and vibrant cultural pavilion were particularly noteworthy and inspirational aspects of the occasion. In recognition of their efforts, the pavilion received the Outstanding Partnership Award.
The Council participated in the first Expo 2025, which featured over 250 intellectual and cultural publications and several panel discussions on important subjects like Islamophobia and the value of intra-Islamic communication. This involvement aligns with the Council’s goal of fostering peace and advancing the principles of communication, tolerance, and human cohabitation. The seminar included Dr. Mahmoud Najah, Imam of His Eminence Ahmed El-Tayeb Mosque at the Abrahamic Family House; Professor Zikrur Rahman, Founder and Director of the Indian Arab Cultural Centre; Dr. Mohand Mechenene, Professor at Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Humanities; and Counsellor Dr. Ahmed Abdel Zaher, Professor of Law at Cairo University and Legal Counsellor at the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department.
