On Sunday, President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with Islamic Republic of Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. In Pakistan’s Punjab province, the city of Rahim Yar Khan hosted a meeting between His Highness and the Prime Minister of Pakistan. They discussed how the UAE and Pakistan may improve their relationship, especially in the areas of trade, economy, development, and other areas that help them achieve their common objectives of prosperity and sustainable economic growth for their respective populations.

This is due to the close historical links between the two countries and their shared desire to deepen them. During the conversation, the two parties also covered a number of regional and international topics that were pertinent to both parties.

Shahbaz Sharif, for his part, emphasized how proud he is of the close friendship between his nation and the United Arab Emirates and thanked Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan for the UAE’s ongoing assistance to Pakistan, particularly in the areas of development and through the UAE’s noteworthy initiatives in this area. Shahbaz emphasized the two nations’ desire to deepen their ties and advance bilateral cooperation in all areas of development, investment, and the economy in a way that benefits their respective populations and advances shared objectives.
