The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) predicts cumulus clouds will build from Friday to Monday, possibly accompanied by varying intensity precipitation.
This is owing to the country’s weather being influenced by weak surface covering systems, as well as the extension of an air mass in the upper atmosphere.
NCM also predicts that the weather on Friday will be mostly clear with a few clouds. The clouds will appear eastward and may become convective during the afternoon.
Humid at night and Saturday morning, with the possibility of fog or mist forming over some coastal and internal locations. The winds will be light to moderate, southeasterly becoming northeastern and northwesterly, strengthening at times, with a speed of 10
The weather on Sunday and Monday is expected to be fair in general and partly cloudy at times with a chance of some cumulus clouds formation eastward by afternoon, associated with rainfall. The winds will be light to moderate, southeasterly to northeasterly, and freshening at times, with a speed of 10 – 20 reaching 35 km/h. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman.
