We started the interview by asking, “Could you start by telling us about your professional journey and inspiration behind jumping into this industry?”

Kieran shared, “My journey is rooted in scaling FMCG manufacturing brands from zero to eight figures globally. As a brand strategist and growth expert, my inspiration to specialise came from seeing incredible products fail simply due to poor market positioning or a lack of retail access.

We then added, “As a professional in this field, what are a few lessons that helped you in leading your work?”

A fundamental lesson is that direct, challenging feedback will always outperform polite affirmation. Real growth requires honesty, both with your internal team and your clients. Furthermore, genuine, high-trust communication is the bedrock of successful brand positioning. Whether you are dealing with a local distributor or a global wholesaler, active listening and authentic relationships move the needle far more than any standard sales tactic,” he mentioned.

Intrigued to learn more, we asked Kieran Prince to share about the major challenges he faced when starting a business or career, and how he overcame them.

Kieran explained, “A significant challenge for many brands and one I navigated heavily early in my career is the complex leap from having a great product to becoming a strategically positioned global brand. Bridging the gap between manufacturing and retail shelves requires immense coordination. I overcame this by systematically cultivating a robust global network of reliable retailers, distributors, and wholesalers. It shifted the focus from merely ‘selling’ to strategically aligning a brand with the right market partners.”

We were interested in learning about Kieran Prince’s plans to expand his work. So, we asked, “What are your plans with the services that you provide? Could you share a bit about it with our viewers?”

He responded, “My primary focus is strengthening the end-to-end growth ecosystem for the brands I partner with. This means continuously expanding our global distribution network to open new markets, while simultaneously scaling our dedicated marketing operations. My team provides comprehensive e-commerce support, taking a brand all the way from initial creative concepts and strategy through to aggressive customer acquisition. Nowadays, AI is everywhere, and even businesses are adapting to it increasingly. So, we asked Kieran Prince, “What are your thoughts on this?”

AI is a powerful operational lever, particularly for the backend of marketing and e-commerce. We utilise advanced content automation and generative tools to scale our creative output and streamline workflows.

However, it is frequently misused as a crutch for lazy outreach. AI should handle the heavy lifting of content and data, but it cannot replace the authentic human charisma required to negotiate with wholesalers or establish long-term brand trust. It’s a tool for efficiency, not a substitute for connection,” Kieran reflected.

Addressing the beginners in his field or in any field of business, we asked Kieran Prince to share his advice that could be their guiding light while navigating the journey.

Kieran shared, “Stop looking for people to simply agree with you. Seek out mentors and partners who will challenge your assumptions directly. Also, master the art of relationships first. All the software and automation in the world won’t save a poorly positioned offer or a lack of basic sales acumen. Build trust, eliminate the fluff, and focus relentlessly on delivering undeniable value to the market.”
