“Jaheziya Syria,” the second phase of the Syrian-Emirati Medical Preparedness and Response Program, was introduced as a major step in fortifying the strategic alliance between Syrian and Emirati medical facilities. Phase one, which taught over 400 frontline workers, was successful, and phase two is now underway.
The initiative, which aims to create a unified, integrated system based on international best practices and accredited by leading training facilities and universities in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Australia, improves cooperation among medical, surgical, nursing, and emergency personnel in both friendly nations.
Through the training and qualification of 10,000 frontline healthcare personnel over a five-year period, the Jaheziya Syria initiative seeks to increase the effectiveness of the Syrian healthcare system in responding to emergencies, crises, and catastrophes.
Based on a single, globally recognized curriculum created in partnership with Jaheziya Academy, the European Center for Disaster Medicine, and top specialized training institutions from the United Arab Emirates, the United States of America, and Europe, the program targets professionals from both the public and private sectors.
