Dubai Chambers has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Australia to boost cooperation between the two markets. The agreement focuses on attracting more Australian companies to Dubai, supporting the expansion of Dubai Chamber of Commerce members into Victoria, and fostering collaboration on trade exhibitions, investment missions, and the exchange of economic data.
The signing took place during the 14th World Chambers Congress, held in Melbourne from 2nd to 4th September and organised by the World Chambers Federation (WCF). During the event, Dubai Chambers held over 25 bilateral meetings with government bodies, private sector representatives, and chambers of commerce. The discussions highlighted Dubai’s dynamic business environment and explored opportunities to strengthen trade and investment partnerships worldwide.
Speaking at a panel session on global economic shifts, Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, emphasised that capital naturally flows to hubs offering stability, diversification, and open, modern business conditions. The Congress gathered leaders from more than 1,200 chambers of commerce across 100 countries, providing a global platform for dialogue and collaboration.
