
At the Arab League Council’s Extraordinary Arab Summit for the Palestinian struggle, which took place in Cairo on March 4, 2025, the United Arab Emirates reiterated its official stance on the Palestinian struggle.
The United Arab Emirates emphasized that this extraordinary summit takes place at a pivotal point in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, necessitating responsible strategies, audacious positions, and swift responses to tackle intricate issues that jeopardize both regional stability and the Palestinian cause. It emphasized the necessity of a different approach that puts political and peaceful resolutions ahead of conflict and devastation.
Despite the ceasefire agreement reached on January 15, 2025, thanks to the admirable efforts of Egypt, Qatar, and the United States, the UAE called for the utmost caution and wisdom to prevent further escalation, especially in light of developments in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories since October 7, 2023.
The UAE reiterated its condemnation of persistent violence and unlawful Israeli actions in the occupied West Bank. It also condemned all provocative statements and actions directed at Palestinians, including the unacceptable comments made by the Israeli Prime Minister about the creation of a Palestinian state on Saudi Arabian territory.
