Dubai International (DXB) has inaugurated a new hub devoted to encouraging young Emirati businesses.

One of the main projects in the first phase of the National Youth Agenda 2031 is the ‘Emirati District,’ which is being run by the Federal Youth Authority in collaboration with the Fatima Bint Mohamed Bin Zayed Initiative. This all-encompassing plan seeks to increase young Emiratis’ access to foreign markets while establishing them as regional and global role models. The Emirati District in Terminal 3 between Concourses B and C benefits from heavy foot traffic—roughly six to seven million visitors a year.

In addition to offering specialized training programs centred on efficient management and boosting competitiveness in both domestic and foreign markets, the space offers a platform for establishing small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in high-growth industries.

Four major initiatives are part of the Emirati District’s launch: From the Arab by Alyazi Almheiri, a luxury home fragrance brand that reintroduces Arabic scents to contemporary homes worldwide; Nuwa by Abdulaziz Al-Jabri, a brand that celebrates the UAE’s agricultural heritage by using locally sourced ingredients to produce world-class quality products; and Amadal by Afnan Bushalat, a concept focused on creating products that offer a taste of home; and Mira Farms by FBMI, a social enterprise by FBMI that empowers underprivileged communities, especially female farmers, by giving them access to a global market for their natural produce.
