Emirates has announced that its flagship Airbus A380 will begin service on the Dubai-Delhi route on October 25th, making the Indian capital the third destination served by the iconic double-decker aircraft. On its three additional daily flights to Delhi, the airline will fly the four-class A380, which includes Premium Economy, with a converted four-class Boeing 777.
Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, announced that Delhi will become the third city in India to be served by the A380, following Mumbai and Bengaluru, demonstrating the airline’s commitment to addressing rising demand for travel to and from India.
He also stated that Emirates is increasing the availability of its Premium Economy package to six destinations in India as part of its ongoing efforts to provide new products geared to improve the travel experience. By the end of October, Premium Economy will be offered on roughly half of the airline’s planned weekly flights to India. He further stated that other service innovations are in the works, highlighting Emirates’ ongoing cooperation with India and dedication to its consumers.
