Beginning on December 17, 2026, Air Arabia, the first and biggest low-cost airline in the Middle East and North Africa, would begin operating four weekly nonstop flights between Sharjah International Airport (SHJ) and Katowice International Airport (KTW).

After Kraków and Warsaw Chopin, Katowice will be Air Arabia’s third Polish destination from Sharjah, operated by an Airbus A320neo. The new route will further broaden the airline’s developing European network while offering consumers a practical and cost-effective way to travel between the UAE and southern Poland.

We are happy to introduce Katowice to our network from Sharjah,” stated Adel Al Ali, Group CEO of Air Arabia. In addition to giving our clients more options, the new four-weekly service will promote travel, commerce, and economic relations between Poland and the United Arab Emirates.

“As we continue to grow our European network, we remain committed to meeting our customers’ changing travel needs and offering dependable, cost-effective air travel throughout our network,” he continued. We are excited to welcome our clients to our new service. We applaud Air Arabia’s choice to open the route between Sharjah and Katowice. Air Arabia greatly improves Katowice Airport’s connectivity as a network carrier. We expect heavy two-way traffic. Residents in southern Poland have easier access to the airline’s wide selection of destinations.
