The Kerala state school board exams, which were supposed to start this week at many locations throughout the Gulf, have been postponed indefinitely. This move was made in reaction to the Middle East’s growing instability, which has caused a great deal of concern for Gulf families. According to General Education Minister V Sivankutty, administering the exams is extremely difficult because of the continuous war.

The Higher Secondary exams that were initially scheduled for March 5, 6, and 7 as well as the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (Class X) exam, which was originally slated for March 5, will now take place on a different date. 386 students at nine centers in Lakshadweep, 417,497 students at 3031 centers in Kerala, and 633 students at seven centers in the Gulf region took the SSLC exam.

He stated that in order to make sure that everyone is aware as soon as possible, students, parents, and guardians will be notified of any changes to the exam dates later. On Monday, he told reporters, “officials have acknowledged concerns from students in Kerala and the Gulf region regarding safely traveling to examination centers to take their exams.”The Department of General Education is dedicated to helping impacted students in order to allay their concerns. Students are urged to apply to the Director of General Education for consideration if they might not be able to take the exams.

Applications can be submitted through the applicant’s principal or elementary school teacher, the minister stated. The general education department will evaluate each application on its own merits, giving the kids’ welfare top priority. This week, the answer sheets for the SSLC, Vocational Higher Secondary, and Higher Secondary exams have been distributed to all 41 district education offices’ schools.
