The world came together at the AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi at a pivotal point in human history. For us in India, welcoming heads of state, chiefs of government, delegates, and innovators from around the globe was a source of great pride and happiness.
India infuses everything it does with enthusiasm and magnitude, and this summit was no different. More than 100 countries sent representatives. Innovative AI goods and services were displayed by innovators. There were thousands of young individuals in the exhibition halls, speculating and asking questions. This was the world’s largest and most democratic AI meeting because of their curiosity. Since a widespread push for AI innovation and adoption has really taken off, I view this as a significant turning point in India’s development.
Numerous technical advancements throughout human history have altered the trajectory of civilisation. In the same category as fire, writing, electricity, and the internet is artificial intelligence. However, with AI, developments that used to take decades can now happen in a matter of weeks and affect the entire world.
Although AI is giving robots intelligence, it also increases human intent. It is essential to make AI human-centric rather than machine-centric. We centred the global AI discourse on human well-being at this summit by implementing the “Sarvajana Hitaya, Sarvajana Sukhaya” (Welfare for All, Happiness of All) paradigm.
