In honour of the holy month of Ramadan, the Royal Humanitarian Foundation of the Kingdom of Bahrain (RHF) has sent an urgent 100-ton assistance shipment to the Gaza Strip in collaboration with “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3” and the Emirates Red Crescent of the United Arab Emirates. To prepare for its arrival through the Rafah Border Crossing, the aid was transported via the Arab Republic of Egypt’s Al Arish Airport.
Under the kind direction of Sheikh Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees and the Representative of the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, this humanitarian endeavour is being carried out in accordance with the directives of King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, who also serves as the Honorary President of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation. In addition to basic food items and a variety of medications and vital medical supplies, the aid package also contains hygiene kits for women and children.
Acting Secretary-General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation Eng. Ibrahim Dalhan Al Doseri confirmed on this occasion that the Kingdom’s noble humanitarian vision to support the brotherly Palestinian people in the face of dire humanitarian conditions is reflected in this urgent relief effort. He said that this action demonstrates Bahrain’s unwavering dedication to promoting just causes, most notably the Palestinian cause.
