7,004,793 of the 7,322,416 calls that the Dubai Police Command and Control Center received last year via the emergency hotline (999) were answered in less than ten seconds. Additionally, the center received 1,498,348 calls in the third quarter of 2025, of which 1,487,859 were handled within that same period, resulting in an outstanding response rate of 99.3%.

As part of the yearly inspection program for general departments and police stations, Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, visited the Operations Department and disclosed these figures. Lt. Gen. Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri emphasized the General Department of Operations’ crucial role in upholding security and guaranteeing that patrols and rescue teams react quickly.

To create a model digital operations room that increases field response efficiency and supports Dubai’s vision for smart transformation, he praised the ongoing efforts to improve the operational framework and preparedness of the operations rooms through upgrades to their technical infrastructure.

Al Marri praised the department’s dedication to improving smart apps and cutting-edge services that promote community happiness while strengthening security and safety.

He went over the department’s strategic indicators, which included security coverage, the response of specialized teams, response times for major emergencies, and the speed at which emergency calls (999) were handled.
