Through collaborative efforts in education, professional training, and research and development, Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) of Dubai and W Motors have partnered to foster innovation in the mobility sector.
In keeping with the UAE’s goal of promoting cooperation between the public and private sectors, the university and the first manufacturer of high-performance luxury cars and mobility solutions provider in the area have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The alliance establishes a platform for academic-industry research and the incubation of innovative ideas and solutions with the goal of promoting innovation in the automotive and mobility industries.
W Motors personnel will have access to specialised academic and executive development programs at the university, while RIT Dubai students will get the chance to obtain firsthand knowledge of the sector through internships and experiential learning. This objective is to inspire the upcoming generation of innovators and support the development and proficiency of future leaders.
W Motors, a leader in the automotive sector and a provider of comprehensive mobility solutions, set up shop in Dubai in 2012. Additionally, it is the business that created the GHIATH program, which was initially created for Dubai Police and offers specialised turnkey mobility solutions with an emphasis on smart technology, security, and defence.
