
During a working visit to the People’s Republic of China, Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, the UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Chairman of Masdar, and Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNOC, met with influential Chinese government officials and top executives from prominent Chinese companies. The goals of the visit were to strengthen bilateral ties and foster more collaboration in the fields of energy, renewable energy, industry, and infrastructure.
The UAE Ambassador to China, Hussain bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, was present when Dr. Sultan Al Jaber met with China’s Finance Minister Lan Fo’an, Liu Jianchao, who heads the Central Committee of the Communist Party (CPC) of China’s International Department, and Zou Jiayi, the President of the AIIB.
Dr. Al Jaber emphasised the UAE’s steadfast commitment to deepening and growing the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership with China and the significance of introducing new projects that advance both countries’ development objectives, with an emphasis on empowering domestic businesses and improving public-private sector cooperation in a way that promotes mutually beneficial and sustainable economic growth and prosperity.
