The United Arab Emirates (UAE) strongly condemned the ongoing violations committed by Israeli occupation forces and settlers against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank. These include repeated incursions into the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, acts of provocation against worshippers, and the recent attack on a mosque in Kifl Hares. The UAE cautioned that such actions pose serious risks of escalating regional tensions.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed the UAE’s firm position demanding an immediate end to these violations at Al-Aqsa Mosque. The Ministry emphasized the need to respect the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan’s custodial role over Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem, in line with international law and historical agreements. It also underscored the importance of preserving the authority of the Jerusalem Endowment Administration, which manages the affairs of Al-Aqsa, the Dome of the Rock, and the surrounding courtyards.

The UAE expressed full solidarity with Jordan’s efforts to safeguard the sanctity of holy sites and held Israeli authorities accountable for halting the ongoing escalation. The statement reiterated the UAE’s rejection of all practices that breach international law and resolutions, warning that these actions could deepen instability in the region.
