Midday-Work-Ban-in-the-UAE-20-Years-of-Workers-Safety

His Excellency, “The Occupational Heat Stress Prevention Policy’s implementation for the 21st consecutive year affirms the UAE’s well-established humanitarian commitment in the labor market, which includes a range of labor protection policies within an integrated ecosystem designed to provide a safe work environment,” stated Mohsin Ali Al Nassi, Assistant Undersecretary for Inspection & Compliance at MoHRE. This strategy protects employees from any risks and injuries that may arise from working in hot weather throughout the summer by adhering to best practices and occupational health and safety regulations.

The corporate sector’s dedication to the program, according to Al Nassi, shows that it recognizes the advantages of the campaign for workers’ health and safety, particularly in the summer. “In keeping with their commitment to offering worker protections in accordance with the highest occupational health and safety standards and requirements, this has become an established practice and top priority among companies operating in the UAE,” he continued.

The Ministry’s partners in the public and private sectors, as well as members of the community, were commended by Her Excellency Dalal Al Shehhi, Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Labour Protection at MoHRE, for their efforts to support the implementation of the Occupational Heat Stress Prevention Policy, which included many initiatives during the campaign period.
