The United Arab Emirates has conducted an urgent medical evacuation for 57 patients from the Gaza Strip, along with their family members, bringing the total number evacuated under ‘Operation Chivalrous Knight 3’ since October 2023 to 2,961 patients and companions.

The UAE has provided these patients with essential medical treatment, reaffirming its position as a global humanitarian leader dedicated to alleviating civilian suffering, promoting rapid recovery, and supporting security and stability during crises.

This latest evacuation was carried out through Ramon Airport in Israel and the Karam Abu Salem crossing. It marks the 29th such operation conducted by the UAE International Aid Agency, in line with directives from President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, aiming to treat 1,000 wounded Palestinians and 1,000 cancer patients in hospitals throughout the UAE.

Sultan Mohammed Al Shamsi, Vice Chairman of the UAE’s International Aid Agency, emphasized the UAE’s unwavering commitment to easing the suffering caused by crises and conflicts, particularly the severe humanitarian emergency faced by the Palestinian people. The UAE continues a rapid humanitarian response, coordinating patient transports from Gaza with international organizations.
