The UAE Government has unveiled the Emirati National Identity Strategy, a landmark initiative developed jointly by the Ministry of Culture and the National Projects Office of the Presidential Court. The launch took place during the UAE Government Annual Meetings 2025 in Abu Dhabi.

The announcement was made by Salem bin Khalid Al Qassimi, Minister of Culture, during a keynote session titled “Legacy and Responsibility.” He outlined the strategy’s vision and objectives, marking the beginning of a new phase of unified national efforts to strengthen Emirati identity across all sectors.

Alongside the launch, an interactive exhibition titled “Emirati National Identity: Legacy and Responsibility” was held during the two-day government meetings. The exhibition aimed to deepen understanding of the values, heritage, and key elements that define the Emirati identity while encouraging participants to embody these values in both government and community practices.

The event was attended by Sheikha Mariam bint Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairperson of the Presidential Court for National Projects; Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority; and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
