With its support and active engagement, the Sharjah Business Women Council (SBWC) made a significant contribution to this year’s Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival (SEF) 2025 and left a lasting impression. Through its interactive pavilion, sponsorship of the “Made in Sharjah” zone, Startup and F&B Pods, and a noteworthy panel discussion, SBWC demonstrated its dedication to empowering women entrepreneurs and promoting a vibrant ecosystem of innovation and cooperation as a major event partner.

In light of their participation’s success, SBWC Director Maryam Bin Al Shaikh stated, “The real power of entrepreneurship lies in the connections we make and the opportunities we create for others.” Our goal is to guarantee that female entrepreneurs contribute to the economy and play a key role in determining its direction.

NMU Initiative: SBWC also unveiled the “NMU Initiative” during SEF 2025. The initiative, appropriately titled to mean “growth” in Arabic, aims to empower Sharjah’s female entrepreneurs by giving them access to unique platforms and chances to market their goods and services. This program aims to support economic empowerment, increase company awareness, and establish beneficial networking opportunities for women-owned enterprises in the emirate.
