Taryam Omran Taryam, a well-known politician and media figure, died on May 16, 2002, and went to heaven. His departure marked the conclusion of a life dedicated to honesty, integrity, and public service. He left a tremendous legacy of respect, admiration, and love in the hearts of those who had the opportunity to know him, work with him, or learn from his wisdom over his incredible career. Throughout his life, he prioritized the interests of the people, exemplifying patriotism that sought no personal benefit but rather served the common good.
Although time has passed, it appears that yesterday and today are still inextricably linked. Although it has been 24 years since Taryam Omran’s devastating absence, the sorrow remains as vivid as ever, and the sense of loss has not faded.
When someone is so firmly ingrained in our hearts, their memory is vivid, their absence is felt acutely, and the pain of losing them continues to vibrate inside us. His major achievements, together with those of his late brother Dr. Abdullah Omran, during the United Arab Emirates’ formative years are permanently engraved in its history with honor. His steadfast patriotism will be remembered and appreciated in perpetuity.
