The Ministry of Defense’s men’s and women’s teams will contribute their winnings from the 2025 Dubai Games to worthy causes. The UAE’s Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, ordered the award money to be donated to a charitable organisation. This demonstrates his dedication to promoting a giving culture, respecting the principles of humanism and partnership, and fulfilling his national obligations.
The Ministry of Defense’s women’s squad placed second in the Battle of the Government for Women tournament, which took place at Dubai Festival City from February 20 to 23, 2025, while the men’s team won the Battle of the Government for Men competition.
The choice demonstrates a dedication to aiding philanthropic endeavours that significantly improve the lives of individuals. Additionally, it strengthens social responsibility and brings people together to work for the country and its people. While the women’s team placed second in the same category, the department’s men’s team emerged victorious in the fight of the government.
