
A team from Khalifa University of Science and Technology was received by UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Tuesday. His Highness congratulated the academic and administrative staff on the university’s noteworthy advancement in the 2026 QS World University Rankings, which saw Khalifa University move up 25 spots to rank 177th globally and among the top 200 universities worldwide. The meeting was held at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi.
Sheikh Mohamed reiterated the UAE’s dedication to creating a knowledge-based and academic environment that is interconnected, keeps up with the world’s fast changing terrain, and equips the next generation with the skills they need to be innovative and knowledgeable.
The delegation provided a summary of the “Heterogeneous Swarm of Underwater Robotic Fish,” one of the university’s cutting-edge research initiatives that best represents Khalifa University’s commitment to marine research and scientific excellence.
The delegation conveyed its profound gratitude for Sheikh Mohamed’s unwavering backing and ongoing dedication to enhancing the reputation and worldwide competitiveness of higher education in the United Arab Emirates.
