This week, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade Dr. Thani Bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi led a group to Warsaw, Poland, where he met with high-ranking government officials to open up new avenues for increased economic cooperation and trade between the two countries.

The discussions come after Poland’s president, Andrzej Duda, paid a formal visit to the United Arab Emirates last week. They are intended to expand on a joint economic collaboration program that was started in 2022 and promotes information sharing, financial exchange, and business relationships. During the visit, Al Zeyoudi held bilateral meetings with Wojciech Kolarski, Head of the President’s Office’s International Policy Department, and Mohamed Al Harbi, UAE Ambassador to Poland.

Al Zeyoudi expressed the UAE leadership’s best wishes and reiterated the goal of deepening diplomatic relations with Poland during their talks. Talks with Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Paweł Jabłoński, Undersecretary of State for Economic and Development Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, focused on cooperation in the agriculture and renewable energy sectors, while his meeting with Adam Szłapka, Minister for European Affairs, focused on promoting bilateral trade.
