About 30 patients from Gaza have been admitted to the UAE Floating Hospital in Al-Arish as part of “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3” since the ceasefire began and medical evacuations through the Rafah border resumed.

Since the beginning of its services for Palestinians, the UAE Floating Hospital has treated 7,534 patients, according to Dr. Mohammed Rashid Al-Kaabi, the medical director. In addition, it has completed 2,561 surgeries in a variety of specialities, treated around 2,850 cases of physical therapy, and fitted 21 prosthetic limbs for patients in need.

In keeping with the highest medical and humanitarian standards, he emphasised that the UAE Floating Hospital will continue to offer its medical services to Palestinian patients, demonstrating the UAE’s steadfast dedication to aiding relief efforts and providing comprehensive healthcare to those in need.

He said the Floating Hospital is a part of ongoing humanitarian efforts to alleviate Palestinian suffering and provide specialised medical services, such as emergency surgeries, primary healthcare, and advanced treatment, all under the supervision of trained medical professionals and furnished with cutting-edge facilities.
