To further its national multiple sclerosis (MS) agenda, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (NMSS) and Erth Zayed Philanthropies have inked a strategic partnership. Erth Zayed Philanthropies will provide Dhs25 million as part of this partnership to help NMSS fulfil its primary goals, which include developing the UAE’s first National Coalition for MS, a multi-sector platform to enhance care, research, and inclusion nationwide.

The agreement was signed during a formal ceremony in Abu Dhabi by a representative from Erth Zayed Philanthropies and Dr. Fatima Al Kaabi, Vice Chair of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

This strategic partnership was announced on World MS Day, which this year is celebrated with the worldwide theme “My MS Diagnosis: Navigating MS Together,” emphasising the value of early identification and community support.

This year marks a significant milestone in the UAE’s efforts to promote inclusive and equitable MS care as Erth Zayed Philanthropies becomes a founding partner of the National Coalition for MS.

The UAE’s dedication to improving MS care, speeding up research, and promoting equity is reaffirmed by this strategic alliance, which also serves as a catalyst for wider multi-sector interaction aimed at forming a more inclusive and revolutionary national response.
