Elon Musk, CEO of X, SpaceX, Tesla, and Starlink, met with Abdulla Bin Mohammed Bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of the UAE National Media Office, the UAE Media Council, and BRIDGE, at Tesla’s Palo Alto, California, headquarters to talk about the future of media and technology and to look into potential collaboration opportunities through the BRIDGE Summit. Al Hamed invited Musk to attend the first-ever BRIDGE Summit, the world’s largest premiere media event, which will be held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, from December 8–10.

The gathering aligns with BRIDGE’s plan to expand opportunities for collaboration between the media sector and cutting-edge technologies, forge high-impact partnerships with global innovation hubs and technology leaders, and shape a more intelligent, diverse, and inclusive future for global content.

Data centers and artificial intelligence, which are seen as the main drivers of the twenty-first century and essential to social and economic change, were extensively discussed throughout the summit. Musk emphasized that the capacity of nations to supply data centers driven by cheap, plentiful, and clean energy will determine the direction of innovation in the future. The UAE is well-positioned to make a significant impact in this field.
