Create a Wish Through joint activities, UAE and TAQA have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance corporate social responsibility and provide children with life-threatening illnesses hope.

Senior executives and representatives from both organisations were present at the signing ceremony, which was held at the TAQA Stand (Arena) during the World Utilities Congress at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi. Hani Al Zubaidi, CEO of Make-A-Wish UAE, and Hamad Al Hajri, Chief Corporate Support Officer of TAQA, were also present.

This strategic alliance aims to increase institutional humanitarian efforts by working together on meaningful projects that benefit children and their families emotionally and psychologically.

Along with reflecting TAQA’s longstanding dedication to social responsibility, the Memorandum of Understanding also paves the way for a number of upcoming projects in collaboration with Make-A-Wish UAE, such as volunteer opportunities for TAQA staff members to participate in wish-granting events and activities actively.

“This MoU embodies our shared vision with TAQA to inspire hope and joy in the hearts of children facing critical illnesses and to enhance the role of government-related entities in championing humanitarian causes,” said Hani Al Zubaidi, who was speaking at the event.
