Apple has officially started iPhone 17 deliveries in the UAE, with both its flagship stores and major retail chains handing over devices to customers from Friday, September 19. The new release instantly drew strong attention, especially from those who had pre-ordered the phone when bookings opened on September 12.
In Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Apple stores saw large crowds early in the morning, with enthusiastic buyers lining up to collect their latest devices. The scene reflected the familiar excitement that typically surrounds Apple’s major product launches. Customers who placed orders online were also given options either to collect their phones directly from Apple outlets or receive them through authorized resellers and electronics retailers across the Emirates.
Deliveries of the iPhone 17 are set to continue through the weekend, with fresh shipments arriving to fulfill the strong demand. According to Apple, the base model of the iPhone 17 features a brighter and more scratch-resistant screen, alongside an improved front-facing camera that enhances horizontal selfies.
Industry experts believe the iPhone 17 series could provide Apple with a much-needed sales boost, particularly in China. The company has faced pressure this year due to rising competition from Xiaomi and Huawei, as well as weaker consumer spending. With the launch of this new lineup, analysts suggest Apple may strengthen its global market share in the final quarter of the year.
