With a score of 96.09 out of 100, the UAE moved up two spots from 2024 to rank among the top five nations worldwide in the IMD World Competitiveness Report 2025. It also continued to lead the Arab world for the ninth year in a row.
The nation ranked second in economic performance, fourth in government efficiency, and third in commercial efficiency globally. Additionally, it topped 113 worldwide metrics, confirming its dominance in various competitive areas, including employment, reduced bureaucracy, digital transformation, venture capital, public-private partnerships, and energy infrastructure.
The UAE’s national brand value increased to $1.223 trillion, ranking it tenth in the 2025 Global Soft Power Index on the global soft power stage. As evidence of its increasing global influence and credibility, the nation was ranked first globally in national brand performance, fourth in future growth potential, and sixth in overall brand strength.
