According to his office, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is scheduled to visit the new Trump administration in Washington on Monday and start negotiations to negotiate a second phase of the ceasefire with Hamas.

When Netanyahu meets with President Donald Trump on Tuesday, he assured reporters he would talk about “victory over Hamas,” fighting Iran, and releasing all hostages before leaving.

Trump will meet with a foreign leader for the first time since he returned to the White House in January, a move Netanyahu referred to as “telling. He stated before he boarded his aircraft, “I believe it’s a testament to the strength of the Israeli-American alliance.

Israeli ambassador to the UN Danny Danon welcomed him to the US capital on Sunday night, emphasising that the upcoming Trump-Netanyahu meeting will “enhance our cooperation and strengthen the deep alliance between Israel and the United States.”

On Sunday, Trump, who has taken credit for negotiating the ceasefire agreement following 15 months of fighting, declared that talks with Israel and other Middle Eastern nations were “moving forward. Bibi (Benjamin) Netanyahu’s coming on Tuesday, and I think we have some very big meetings scheduled,” said President Trump.
