Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, attended a Youth Dialogue event held in the United Arab Emirates during the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA80) in New York. Youth leaders from all over the world gathered at the UAE Mission to the UN in New York for the Youth Dialogue, which was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA).
Forty young people, including students and Emirati youngsters living in the United States, attended the event. Participants had a broad discussion about the most important issues that their communities are now facing. The critical need to bridge digital barriers and increase opportunity in a world growing more interconnected, peace and conflict prevention, climate action and environmental justice, and fair access to education and skill development were also topics of discussion.
The UAE’s dedication to inclusive, youth-centered participation, elevating marginalized perspectives, and promoting multilateralism was highlighted during the Youth Dialogue event. The occasion built on the success of the first Youth Dialogue, which took place during the July 2025 BRICS Summit in Brazil.
