To mainstream artificial intelligence (AI) education and promote its adoption across key economic sectors, the Dubai AI Academy was established by Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Future Foundation.

The launch took place at the Museum of the Future, AREA 2071 at Emirates Towers, and at several other locations throughout Dubai during the inaugural Dubai AI Week 2025, sponsored by Sheikh Hamdan and organised by the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI), a project of the Dubai Future Foundation. The event took place from April 21 to 25.

“Dubai will be the preferred destination for those who want to lead the future of artificial intelligence,” Sheikh Hamdan stated. We will continue to fund meaningful projects that highlight the diverse and varied applications of AI, as well as its potential to drive economic growth and foster advancements in society, governance, and education. The Dubai AI Academy is a component of the DIFC Innovation Hub’s Dubai AI Campus, the biggest cluster of AI and cutting-edge technology businesses in the area.

The project, which will be developed with the DIFC Academy’s assistance, aims to educate 10,000 aspiring and seasoned executives and establish itself as a leading provider of AI certification and training programs.
