His Majesty At the World Governments Summit (WGS) 2025, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the UAE’s vice president and prime minister and ruler of Dubai, met with Colombian President Gustavo Petro Urrego on Tuesday. ‘Shaping Future Governments’ is the topic of the Summit, which started Tuesday in Dubai and will end on February 13. Urrego will give a keynote speech on the second day of the Summit at WGS 2025, and Sheikh Mohammed praised his involvement.
Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Finance of the United Arab Emirates, attended the meeting.
The group examined prospects to expand collaboration across multiple sectors and deliberated on methods to improve bilateral relations between the United Arab Emirates and Colombia. Sheikh Mohammed reiterated the UAE’s dedication to advancing international collaboration and boosting the effectiveness and creativity of its government.
He emphasised that effective solutions to navigate global changes are developed by government leaders through strong international collaboration, guaranteeing sustainable growth and prosperity for future generations.
