The 30th Rabat International Book Fair (RIBF 2025), which will take place from April 18 to 27, has announced the Sharjah Book Authority’s (SBA) program as Guest of Honor.
The Authority is working with the top cultural institutions in the Emirate to organize a comprehensive cultural program in Sharjah that will include 52 joint Emirati-Moroccan events, such as panel discussions, seminars, and historical activities.
Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, the Moroccan Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication; Ahmed Bin Rakkad Al Ameri, CEO of SBA; several cultural officials; and media representatives from both sides attended the press conference hosted by the Moroccan Ministry of Culture to make the announcement.
“We had the honor of welcoming the Kingdom of Morocco as the Guest of Honor in the previous edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF),” Ahmed Bin Rakkad Al Ameri stated during the press conference. Their involvement brought a distinctive aspect to the event and greatly enhanced our cultural program with their insights. We are pleased to announce Sharjah as the RIBF 2025 Guest of Honor today. The two nations’ long-standing fraternal ties are reflected in this chance.
