The UAE Floating Hospital in the city of Al Arish was visited by a high-level team from the Arab Parliament, led by the Arab Parliament President Mohammed Ahmed Al Yammahi. The group examined the medical and humanitarian services offered to patients and took a thorough tour of the hospital’s many divisions.
The delegation members visited with a number of Palestinian patients who were undergoing treatment at the hospital during the visit, and they heard about their experiences with the quality of medical care and humanitarian assistance provided by the Emirati medical personnel.
As part of the UAE’s efforts to aid Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, the group was also given an update on the status of “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3” in Al Arish. The delegation gained knowledge about the operation’s management mechanism and the kinds of help being given, such as food and health packages, women’s and children’s kits, children’s clothing packages, and other relief items. Some of these humanitarian parcels were packed with the assistance of delegation members.
Al Yammahi affirmed that these humanitarian endeavours are a true reflection of Arab principles and a common feeling of Arab solidarity, and he commended the UAE’s tremendous efforts to aid the Palestinian people and lessen their suffering.
