Under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, a humanitarian aid aircraft carrying 100 tons of relief supplies took off from Ras Al Khaimah International Airport on Friday for the Gaza Strip. In order to support Palestinians in Gaza, the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC), the Emirati-Palestinian Friendship Club, and the Dar Al Ber Society collaborated to organize the aid flight. In order to help address immediate humanitarian needs and lessen the suffering of families impacted by the situation, the airplane is carrying clothing, medications, and newborn formula.
The UAE maintains its humanitarian efforts to support the Palestinian people by mobilizing its logistical and relief resources in collaboration with its partners, according to Hammoud Al Afari, Relief Operations Coordinator for Operation Chivalrous Knight 3. According to him, the project aims to guarantee the continuous provision of medical and humanitarian supplies to Gaza, assisting in meeting the basic requirements of people, bolstering their resilience, and lessening the effects of the humanitarian crisis. The flight reflects the UAE’s longstanding commitment to helping those impacted by humanitarian crises and is a part of the country’s ongoing humanitarian efforts under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 to provide relief aid to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
