We recently had the opportunity to speak with Radouan Bachiri, a public affairs and strategic communication consultant. Bringing nearly two decades of experience in the field, he has unparalleled expertise when it comes to public relations, communications, and events.
As a Brussels-based Public Affairs Consultant at Extension Communication Agency, he offers advisory services to a wide clientele, from government to international organizations.
Beyond his professional endeavours, Radouan Bachiri is also the Founder and President of Moroccan Generation, and European Women’s International Leadership Award.
Spark Behind the Vision
We started the interview by asking, “What first inspired you to pursue your current industry or professional path? Was there a defining moment or influence that shaped your direction?”
Radouan shared, “My professional journey has always been driven by a profound belief that meaningful relationships and purposeful partnerships create lasting opportunities. Early in my career, I realized that communication, public affairs, and strategic collaboration could become powerful tools for bringing people, institutions, businesses, and cultures together across borders.
I am deeply attached to my two Kingdoms—the Kingdom of Belgium and the Kingdom of Morocco. I am incredibly proud of my dual nationality, which has shaped not only my identity but also my vision of the world. Growing up between these two cultures has given me a unique perspective and reinforced my belief that diversity is a powerful source of innovation, dialogue, and progress.
This dual heritage naturally inspired me to dedicate my career to building bridges between Europe, Africa, and the wider international community. Today, this vision continues to guide my commitment through Moroccan Generation NGO, the European Women’s International Leadership Award (EWILA), and other international initiatives that promote leadership, diplomacy, innovation, intercultural dialogue, and sustainable cooperation.
I firmly believe that leadership is not defined by titles or positions, but by the ability to inspire others, create opportunities, and unite people around a shared vision. Every initiative I undertake is driven by the ambition to strengthen international cooperation, empower the next generation of leaders, and contribute to building a more inclusive, connected, and prosperous world.”
Growth Amidst Uncertainties
Interested in learning more about his journey, we asked Radouan Bachiri to share a significant challenge he faced in his career or business, and how he successfully overcame it.
He reflected, “One of the greatest challenges throughout my career has been bringing together people from different cultures, institutions, and professional backgrounds around a common vision. Whether in diplomacy, international relations, or strategic partnerships, trust is never built overnight.
I have learned that credibility, consistency, and genuine commitment are the foundations of long-term success. By listening carefully, respecting cultural differences, and focusing on shared interests rather than individual agendas, I have been able to establish strong international partnerships that continue to generate value and create lasting impact.”
The Future from Radouan Bachiri’s Lens
We then asked, “What key trends or changes do you foresee shaping the future of your industry over the next 3–5 years?”
“I believe the future will be shaped by three major forces: digital transformation, stronger international cooperation, and purpose-driven leadership.
Technology is redefining the way organizations communicate, collaborate, and make strategic decisions, while geopolitical and economic challenges are making international partnerships more important than ever. At the same time, society increasingly expects leaders to create not only economic value but also meaningful social impact.
Those who successfully combine innovation, cultural intelligence, and ethical leadership will be best positioned to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world,” Radouan added.
Plans in Pipeline
We were curious to learn more about Radouan Bachiri’s long-term aspirations for his company or role, and the strategies he will implement to reach them. So, we asked him to share a glimpse of the same with our viewers.
He mentioned, “My long-term ambition is to continue developing platforms that bring together leaders, entrepreneurs, institutions, and investors committed to strengthening cooperation between Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
Through strategic partnerships, international forums, leadership initiatives, and cross-sector collaboration, my goal is to create sustainable ecosystems where innovation, investment, and human capital can flourish. For me, success is measured not only by achievements but also by the positive and lasting impact we leave on future generations.”
Blending AI with Human Skills
Today, AI is across every sector, reshaping operations. So, we asked Radouan Bachiri, “How do you see artificial intelligence and emerging technologies influencing your industry or business model?”
He stated, “Artificial intelligence is transforming communication, strategic analysis, and decision-making at an unprecedented pace. It offers tremendous opportunities to improve efficiency, anticipate change, and strengthen international collaboration.
However, technology should always remain a tool that serves people—not replaces them. Human judgment, empathy, diplomacy, and trust will continue to be the qualities that truly make the difference. The future belongs to those who successfully combine technological innovation with authentic, human-centered leadership.”

We also requested Radouan Bachiri to share more about his core values or guiding principles that influence his decisions and the way his organization operates.
“Integrity, respect, excellence, inclusion, and responsibility are the values that guide every decision I make.
I believe leadership carries a responsibility to serve others, encourage dialogue, and create opportunities that benefit communities as much as organizations. Sustainable success can only be achieved through trust, transparency, and a genuine commitment to creating a positive impact,” Radouan shared.

We were interested to learn the approaches that ensure Radouan Bachiri stays ahead of the curve. So, we asked, “Can you share an innovative strategy or approach that helped your company stand out or achieve a breakthrough?”
He responded, “One of our greatest strengths has been our ability to connect worlds that do not naturally interact—public institutions, private companies, civil society organizations, entrepreneurs, and international leaders.
Rather than simply creating networking opportunities, we build platforms where relationships evolve into meaningful collaborations, strategic partnerships, and impactful projects. This people-centered and internationally driven approach has become one of the defining characteristics of our work.”

Lastly, we asked, “How has your leadership style evolved throughout your journey, and what lessons have shaped your approach to leading teams or businesses?”
“My leadership style has evolved from managing projects to empowering people. Experience has taught me that the most effective leaders are those who listen, foster collaboration, and create an environment where individuals can reach their full potential.
One lesson has remained constant throughout my journey: leadership is not about authority—it is about service, vision, and the ability to bring people together around a common purpose. When trust, respect, and shared ambition come together, extraordinary achievements become possible,” Radouan mentioned.
