His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Sharjah Ruler, was deeply appreciated by Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Judicial Council. He commended His Highness’s steadfast support for the judiciary’s advancement to establish Sharjah as an example of justice, safety, and sustainability.
Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed underlined that the implementation of the Judicial Authority Law enhances the effectiveness and performance of the legal system while fortifying judicial independence. This conformity to global best practices advances societal goals and strengthens public confidence. He restated the Judicial Council’s commitment to creating a cutting-edge judicial environment based on fairness, openness, and sensitivity to legislative changes.
Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed concluded by calling the Judicial Authority Law a historic step towards creating a contemporary and open legal system that satisfies the demands of Sharjah’s inhabitants and represents the leadership’s vision.
His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the Supreme Council member and ruler of Sharjah, issued Law No. (7) of 2025, which regulates judicial power, and Sharjah has formally started implementing it. This law marks a significant turning point in the Emirate’s efforts to strengthen judicial independence, guarantee fair trials, and preserve the values of justice.
